more than just reggae - I m not a big fan of reggae, instead I m more into jazz, blues, soul and R&B, and I love this CD! It s a good fusion of reggae, soul and R&B. These groovy tunes are always good for driving, riding, or just relaxing. The carribean flavor always gets me into good mood. I discovered this album about 14 years ago (back then in cassette format) and I m still often listening to it!
The Best - This has to be one of my all-time favorites. I never get tired of listening to this album.
Maxi s Music is Blue Skies and Blue Seas - As Close to You is one of my all-time favorite songs, I bought the Fe Real album confident that I would love it. And I do! These songs are at least as fun, energetic and sexy as the ones that Maxi sang back in the 80s. Some favorites include the ultra-sensual Groovin in the Midnight, the bouncy Just Wanna Know and Promises. Caribbean flavor can be tasted in every one of these songs. This is the kind of album that you play outdoors at a summer bar-b-que or party, or when you are cleaning the house and need to keep moving!! Buy this album and it will feel like summer all year long.
