So enjoyable! - Maxi Priest is easy listening Reggae. Very enjoyable and upbeat, and some good message songs. He has a great voice, and a great style.
Maxi Priest - Wow! I first heard this disc being played at Rum Point on Grand Caman Island while I was relaxing in a hammock. The bar was empty, but they had their speakers blaring so that the music could be heard outside. I was drinking a Mudslide at the time (a popular C.I. drink) when this fantastic music came on. I went in to enquire....it was Maxi Priest. I loved it then and I love it now. This is by far the best disc to get. It truly does have all of his best music on this disc. Whoever chose these songs knew what they were doing. However, you can t go wrong getting any other of his discs, as I have! So, grill some burgers, drink your favorite beverage, crank up Maxi Priest, and dance in the sun.
I Forgot This Guy Is So Good! - Maxi Priest is wonderful. I forgot he is such a good artist. His old-school jams are the best! (My favorite being House Call featuring Shabba Ranks). I highly recommend this one if you haven t heard Maxi lately.
good stuff... - i was going through my cd collection and realized that i didn t have this cd--- it had gone missing... i had to replace it. it s got some great tunes on there and i didn t want to forget the memories associated with them.
Simply The BEST! - I am just now discovering Maxi Priest (maybe due to the fact that when he came out I was around 2 years old) anyway...I really enjoyed this album. What I really like about Maxi Priest (besides his incredible looks) is his voice. He has a very pure, smooth and sexy voice that is just suited for love songs. Standout tracks on this album in IMO are: Wild World (really nice beat, nice lyrics), How Can We Ease The Pain, Housecall (Shabba!), I Know Love, Best Of Me and of course the song that made him a international star, Close To You. So, if you are a fan of Lite reggae, lovers rock, etc. Then this is the album for you.
